I honestly have no idea! I have always dreamed to have my own online store and write about stuff. But I recently I feel that my priorities are all mixed up. I believed I started on the right track, but along the way, I got really distracted. Now I have no idea why I am doing this. When things like this happen, I have to be dragged back to the drawing board. Check my heart attitude, what are my reasons behind it. What social workers call "Critical Reflexive Practice" (O'Connor et al 2008). HA! I am pretty sure in my exam, a question about this will be coming out! I was distracted again, back to the topic?!

Yes... this shop is going to be a stepping stone to my dream Cafe. My motives and desires were in the wrong place, now let this business be one that is glorifying to You! I want people to know that He can use us in anyway, that Christians can go out in the world but not be transformed by it. Instead be that Light! Ultimately, in all I do, I wanna honour You.

I take comfort in Ps 37.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Here is my entry on ClosetOverload about music, the great Tommy Emmanuel and how we all wish that we were Child Prodigies, in one way or another. Also special featuring my all-so adorable niece - Janice playing her first tune on the keyboard. Bearing in mind that she is only 8 months old. Read more here.

After doing up my lifestyle blog for our upcoming business, I am getting use to using wordpress. It's actually very user friendly once you get use to it, just like my dear friend, Matty (my macbook). You know how people get the whole fear about using Macs just because it's different from PC? Same difference with wordpress. Many have told me that wordpress is not idiot-proof makes it such a turn off for bloggers. However it has many functions that livejournal and blogger do not offer. Furthermore, wordpress has a function that allows me to import all my entries from livejournal. I am still contemplating whether I should move, any thoughts from the LJ users?

On the side note, yes my lifestyle blog - Closet Overload is finally up! Check it out at www.closetoverload.wordpress.com. I wanted to go on ranting about it, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory. Do drop a comment to say hi! We need all the support we can get. A friend of mine even did a promo for us on her blog, check out her article:

What It Is

Closet Overload is an online store planning on overloading your closet... with your express permission, of course. Hopefully with prices that won't cause us to have to pull off a quick bank job. I say 'hopefully', because the store part of the website isn't actually up yet. Stay tuned for that. [And no, even though I know all three people behind the venture, I do not get a discount. Nepotism is truly dead.] But in the meantime, Closet Overload plans on being more than just an online clothing store, swapping cloth for cash.

Why it deserves a coveted space on your Bookmarks Bar

Because it will tell you all about the advantages of Apples over Oranges Vaios, about what's in (and out), what to eat, the places to be at, movies to watch and the lifestyles of three very different individuals. Individuals just like every one of us, but with a difference: they live it, they write it.

And hopefully, it will speak into your lifestyle.
I will leave it at this:
Because we all need someone to tell us what to wear out of the house in the mornings...

Me: Don't leave without me!!
E: But I want to leave now!

And the song goes:
I will follow you...
You don't want to follow me wherever I want to go...
He pang jio you also follow
-by non-other then CY.

As much as we wanted to continue with the song,
the whole study room burst out in laughter.
And that was it.

There is always drama in the study room...

Ps: Pang Jio means pee-ing.

As mentioned previously, I was going to blog about the recently ended drama, My Queen. This Taiwan based drama, starring the good-looking Ethan Ruan and Co-star Cheryl Yang, is about a 33-year-old beautiful, independent and career focused lady meeting a 25 year-old carefree lovable guy. Like every other clique love story, obviously these two eventually fall in love, but having to deal with a 8 year difference is no easy task - it's a must watch, a drama that can make you laugh and cry at the same time.

I love the female character that was portrayed in the show - it made me so determined me to become independent before I get into a relationship. I became really ambitious - I must be able to drive, have a direction of where I want to go in life, working towards that dream, possibly have a stable income and be stable in my relationship with God. It's funny how not many people believe I can do it, based on the fact that I can be quite reliable on people. Oh wells, at least I have something to work towards to now. Now now... that's a big goal, let's keep focused. No more childish crushes! OMG! I forgot to mention how cute Vic, Matt, Ethan and Sam are! *Laughs* It was worth a try... ;)

Man, studying can be a real chore! For the first time, I am actually reading a textbook from cover to cover - and I have 1 and a half more chapters to go, I really need to finish my notes by tonight so that I can begin doing my past year exam papers tomorrow! So yes, in actual fact, studying is a pain! As much as I believe the many working adults who tell me to enjoy my student life, they all have to agree with me that exams and assignments can be a pain in the butt! But because they are older and wiser, I will take their comments into serious consideration.

Asides, that psychological pain of studying. My body is seriously aching from sleeping on the couch on sunday night. My poor roommate was in a huge dilemma on whether she should wake me up and disrupt my deep sleep or let me suffer the next day when I woke up. Guessed she decided to let me deal with consequences later. Besides, if she did wake me up, I would probably be too lazy to move anyway. So yes, my back, neck and shoulders are seriously killing me. So I am going for my massage NOW because I can't stand it anymore! Yes, the pain!

Btw, I have finally changed my playlist for studying to Paul Colman's songs. I love it!

Studying is such a pain in the butt:(
*cries*
